Art, artisans, crafts, photography, mixed media, metalwork, wood turnings, glass, jewelry, live performances and demonstrations…
And about 50,000 people in attendance. We even bumped into 8 or 10 people we recognized in the crowd.
We have lived in Cary for 12 years now, and this was our first visit to Lazy Daze. What a shame to have missed it in the past. We had a fine time. My wife purchased a 16×16 portrait of pansies that will brighten a corner at home. She needed some original earrings, too.
And we just had fun walking the Academy and Chatham Streets and looking at the offerings. Saw some kitsche. And some truly awesome talents were in evidence.
Marking the calendar for next year. 2010 will bring us the 34th annual edition of Cary’s Lazy Daze.
