Lance,

The reason for the delay is important. The deed has to be recorded before the home is yours. Generally, it is better if you get the keys and move into the home after recording.
You may be able to make arrangements with the sellers to rent the home for the period of the delay, but that can also be problematical.

You might speak with your agent's broker in charge about various alternatives, or to lodge your complaint.

I'm sorry you had this issue, and also that I just found your comment. I hope it has all worked out.

it says the deed has to be recorded before you get your keys but must will give the keys out any ways. What if you sign your closing and it take over two weeks for them to close becasue your realtor is not the smartest? would there be someone higher that you can talk to to get the keys?

thanks

I think that if the town of Cary wants him to take it down, then take it down to avoid the fines. BUT..it is Christmas time!!! Every heard of Christmas Lights, or a bunch of red bows that read "screwed by the town of Cary" in bright red bows or lights .

If Cary complains about his lights, they will be very busy as they will have to hold everyone in Cary to the same standards about their Christmas decorations if they try and tell him to take it down! I would like to see what people have to say if he does do something Holiday related and Cary tries to only penalize him, that would be a definite violation of free speech among many other things.

I have always enjoyed watching the growth of a new structure and the careful coordination of the operator, ground crew and others. The good ones make it look easy, which it's not.
