This is a great house. It was built especially for the 2006 Parade of Homes, and has all the “etceteras.”
6105 Larboard was custom-built, with a focus on quality. It offers heavy moldings, baseboards, crown, and door trims, wainscot in the dining room, coffered ceiling in the living room, built in bookcases on either side of the fireplace in the family room, tile baths.
It is a tremendously livable floor plan. The first floor includes a guest suite for visitors, a huge kitchen that opens to the family room, a gracious central foyer that offers access to the common living areas, a bright breakfast room, and the screened porch. The huge kitchen is appointed with granite tops, tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, a convection oven, and under-cabinet lighting.
From the kitchen you can access the large pantry, a work desk that is perfect for home record-keeping or supervising homework while prepping supper. You can access either the front stairs or the back stairs.
The front stairs take you to the hall, the 2nd level bedrooms, and the large 2nd level laundry room which is complete with a sink cabinet, overhead cabinets, and front loader washer/dryer set on pedestals. The washer and dryer convey with the home.
The back stairs offer easy access to the bonus room and home theater room, which are separated by a half bath. The bonus room, complete with wall mounted chalk board, is being used as a play room, and games and toys can be stowed in the large storage closet with wooden shelves.
At the top of the front steps is Cinderella’s castle, decked out in pink. The adjoining bath, with two vanities and a tub/shower room connects with the third bedroom on the level. Both bedrooms are nice sized, with room to spare.
Next is the master suite. The bedroom easily handles a king bed and dressers as needed. The closet is just outside the master bath, and has shelving and hanging space galore.
The master bath has dual vanities, a jetted tub and a gigantic tile shower complete with dual shower heads. The ceiling has a high vault, and a pleasant arch between vanities and bathing. It is a most excellent arrangement for sharing.
The exterior of this fine home offers 1/3 acre, with a fenced yard, trees, great landscaping, a side entry garage, beautiful stone veneer, and a large shady front porch.
And you get all this in The beautiful Park at West Lake. The Park at West Lake is in the Town of Cary, NC, but is served by the Apex, NC, post office, and has an Apex mailing address.
